I'VE LEARNED THIS: IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE SITUATION YOU'RE IN, GET UP OFF THE COUCH AND DO SOMETHING TO CHANGE IT!!
Never judge a book by its cover!!! One time when I lived in Tucson I was attending a drivers safety class because I was unfortunate enough to receive a speeding ticket. About 5 minutes before the class was due to start, a rough looking biker type guy came and sat right next to me and I thought to myself "OMG.....why cant he sit somewhere else?" I was a little uptight, but went through the class fine. After the class, the guy started talking to me and we had an awesome conversation...come to find out, he was a Christian and was the nicest man I have met in ages!! I saw him several times after that and we always had kind conversations and etc. If I would have gone with my instincts, I would have missed out on a very nice friendship.
