These are pics of Dauphin Island, a small sand bar off the coast of Alabama. Most of the homes there were leveled by the storm. There is still no electiricity. But there was a by God Mardi Gras parade!

We would've answered sooner, but we were diggin' on the photos, Marti. Thanx for sharing. We could use a beach right about now. What's up with the lack of electricity? It has been a while, now.

The photos of your friends and family are beautiful... and the scenery. The parade, what a great celebration. Where in Alabama is Dauphin? How far from Foley? My mom is living in Foley, but I only have a PO box... I can't leave to go visit her now, but I want to try during the Easter holiday week. I know where Foley is, because I saw it on the map. I haven't spoken to her in a long while because her phone is out. I've never been to AL. The weather looks nice. Bea
