Draggin Down the River

It was a cloudy day with ominous thunder growling in the distance

The river was so low I spent most of my time dragging my somewhat less outdoorsy friends tubes down the river.

I also spend a good deal of time lightening the ice chest so I wouldnt' have so much weight to drag!

But we were the only people on the river...

It looked just like it must have looked before I was born

we saw hawks,

turtles

fish

and heard

NOTHING

It was great.

I leave you with

the wisdom of Candice,

"The more beer you drink, the less snakes there are"

Would this also be the way of lightening up the ice chest? Come to think of it - I never heard snakes either.  I'm at this really cool 70's coffee house that has computer access - Just checking mail! Have a great weekend!

Sounds like a nice lazy day.  I think I drink a lot of beers if that is what kept the snakes away!  De ;)

Except sometimes if you drink TOO much beer there are snakes everywhere and a few of them have wings.  Wait.  I might be thinking about hash.  Nevermind.  ;)
